I started the Word section of this blog to keep track of my favorite phrases, words, and way to use them for writing. This has a side benefit, dear reader, to inspire you to expand your vocabulary.
Today's word is Crass.

I enjoy this word immensely. I tend to use it to describe a poor judgement or insensitive/rude behavior. Most recently, someone asked if I did something uncharacteristic and responded with why would I be so crass? It has a negative connotation, but sounds a lot more sophisticated than using words like rude or stupid.
