Tiger Sushi | 2841 Lyndale Ave S | Minneapolis | MN | 55408
Dear Tiger Sushi,
Why did Tigger Sushi put an age when you could just say any one over 21? OR why not have a second night for 21-40 year olds. If Tiger sushi organized two email lists based on people’s ages they could save reader’s email preferences so that people like me aren’t constantly being disappointed by being invited to a fun mixer near my house that isn’t meant for me.
I noticed that Tiger Sushi uses Constant Contact, and that email provider is more then capable of managing all the tasks I just described. A viable and cheaper second option for managing email newsletters is Mail Chimp.
Others:
I love that Tiger Sushi is sort of utilizing social media like Facebook, but perhaps this campaign could go one step further by using an event engine like EventBrite. As long as sign-up is free their is no charge to use their service. Plus EventBrite integrates with Facebook events. So it would be easy to share this with a client.
Their are quite a few other things that Tiger could be doing to maximize your events and get more people to show up, become a fan of your restaurant and purchase sushi but I know you have someone already managing these things. I saw a year ago you looked for that canidate on Craigslist in exchange for free sushi.
If you’d ever like to hire someone who works on interactive strategy full time and can help you maxamize your website, branding, and social media please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Sushi Restaraunt Reviews
Zeno is good too, love their atmosphere. It’s one of my personal favorite because of their wine selection. Zeno also uses social media, but never seems to update stuff. They also don’t do those hand cleaning clothes or gyoza. Their best is chef’s choice. Sushi Tango is nice but if you go go for the patio and happy hour. Mt. Fuji is ok, but not fond of the layout. Love that their menu has pictures. The prices there are perfect though. Fujiya is another place in uptown (all of these are in uptown). Fujiya is another place that makes great sushi, like Tiger, but also like Tiger if you don’t go during happy hour it’s a little over priced. I do love that they always give you desert. As for take out sushi the only grocery store I would do is Kolwalski’s. Wakame is on excelsior is great. If you want all you can eat sushi go to Seven on Sunday or their is another place downtown that you pay a set fee and they have sushi go by on boats and you take what you want. I know a few others but those are the good ones. I do love tiger and their location, plus they do more events then the rest but their prices seem to be more then most.
